Common quality defects and causes of tread pressing

1. The reasons for surface roughness are: low heat refining temperature and uneven heat refining; The extrusion temperature is too low; Rubber burning; The pressing speed is too fast, and the speed of the linkage device does not match it.

2. The reasons for the formation of air holes inside the tread are: high moisture or volatile substances in the raw materials; Improper heat refining process with air entrainment; The extrusion temperature is too high; The pressing speed is too fast, and the glue supply is insufficient.

3. The reason why the size and weight of the tread section do not meet the requirements is that the installation of the extrusion plate is not correct; Mouth plate deformation; Improper control of heat refining temperature and extrusion temperature; Uneven pressing speed or improper coordination of the linkage device; Insufficient cooling after pressing out; Insufficient heat refining.

4. The reasons for scorching are: improper design of rubber formula and poor scorching performance; High heat refining and extrusion temperatures; There is adhesive buildup, dead corners, or cooling water blockage in the machine head; The glue supply is interrupted, and the empty car is stuck with materials.

5. The reasons for edge breakage are: insufficient heat refining and low plasticity of the rubber material; Rubber burning; Small or blocked sulfur rubber mouth at the edge of the tread profile; Low temperature of machine head and mouth plate
